Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to ASQA, PRISMS, NCVER, and other relevant Australian authorities.
Manage and maintain student Confirmation of Enrolments (COEs) via PRISMS, including issuance, variation, suspension, and cancellation according to legislative guidelines.
Ensure the college's operations remain fully compliant with CRICOS, ESOS, and RTO Standards 2015.
Monitor legislative updates and ensure policies, procedures, and practices reflect current compliance requirements.
Internal Compliance Management:
Develop, implement, and monitor internal compliance systems, processes, and registers across all college operations.
Support the academic and administration teams with understanding and implementing compliance processes, including student support, attendance monitoring, and assessment practices.
Identify and manage non-compliance issues raised from internal departments and follow through with corrective actions and documentation.
Maintain and improve compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, forms, templates, and registers.
Audits & Quality Assurance:
Coordinate and conduct internal audits in line with ASQA's audit guidelines and college policy.
Lead the preparation and response to external audits conducted by ASQA or other government authorities.
Conduct post-validation of assessments, ensuring assessment tools and practices align with training package requirements, principles of assessment, and rules of evidence.
Maintain records of validation meetings, outcomes, and continuous improvement activities.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improvement based on audit findings, feedback, and changes in regulations.
Participate in policy development and review cycles.
Provide compliance training and support to college staff to promote a culture of quality and compliance.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of ASQA standards, ESOS Act, National Code 2018, and RTO Standards 2015.
Experience working in compliance within a CRICOS-registered RTO delivering vocational education to international students.
High attention to detail with excellent reporting, documentation, and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly for liaising with regulatory bodies and internal teams.
Proficiency in PRISMS, VETtrak, aXcelerate, or similar student management systems (SMS).
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve compliance issues.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
