Compliance Executive (Statutory & Factory Compliance
Job Summary
The Compliance Executive is responsible for managing and ensuring 100% compliance with statutory, labor, factory, environmental, and insurance-related regulations. The role involves coordination with government departments, timely filings, inspections handling, and maintaining statutory records.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory & Labour Compliances
Ensure compliance with EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual returns under labor laws
Maintain statutory registers, records, and notices as per labor laws
Coordinate with Labour Department for inspections, audits, and notices
Support labor law audits and resolve non-compliances
Factory Act & Industrial Compliance
Ensure compliance under the Factories Act and allied rules
Maintain factory licenses, renewals, and amendments
Handle factory inspections and liaise with Factory Inspectorate
Maintain health, safety, and welfare-related statutory records
Environmental & Pollution Control
Ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board (PCB) norms
Manage Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CTO)
Maintain records related to air, water, hazardous waste, and EHS norms
Coordinate inspections and reporting to pollution authorities
Insurance & Other Compliances
Manage employee insurance, workmen compensation, group mediclaim, fire & asset insurance
Coordinate policy renewals, claims, and documentation
Ensure compliance with statutory and non-statutory insurance requirements
General Responsibilities
Track changes in statutory laws and update management
Prepare compliance MIS reports and dashboards
Coordinate with consultants, auditors, and government officials
Ensure timely renewal of all licenses, registrations, and approvals
Support internal audits and management reviews
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in HR, Law, Commerce, or Business Administration
2-5 years of experience in statutory / factory / labor compliance
Strong knowledge of EPF, ESIC, Factory Act, Labour Laws, PCB norms
Experience dealing with government authorities is mandatory
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of Indian labor and statutory laws
Documentation and compliance tracking skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
