About you and this role

Your job will need you to support the Dow Procure to Pay organization to develop and deliver PtP end-to-end strategies and support ability of Dow to deliver effective and efficient services. You will perform a range of assignments related to the operating discipline and internal controls, use prescribed guidelines and policies in analyzing situations and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide monitoring, analysis, and consultation to ensure PtP operations comply with legal and work process requirements, across procurement, APAY, and TER service areas.
• Assess compliance risk, perform operational compliance reviews & controls testing.
• Conducts operational audits to identify compliance issues and continuous improvement opportunities. Perform root cause analyses and business process improvement activities to eliminate the root cause of compliance exceptions.
• Act as the regional focal point for internal and external audits in partnership with local tax and legal focal points.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance monitoring process standards and procedures. Engagement with finance and compliance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting, Finance or related discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of PtP work process across Procure, APAY and TER.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and summarize the \xe2\x80\x9cstory\xe2\x80\x9d behind the data.
• Ability to understand legal and regulatory language.

Preferred Skills

• Desire and willingness to learn new tools, applications, and methodologies.
• Ability to understand financial concepts, terminology, and think in terms of broad concepts.
