Job Purpose


This position requires knowledge of the regulatory framework, applicability of laws for an Indian NBFC Documentation testing for India Financial Services to ensure no procedural, regulatory or compliance breaches exist that could result in material finding or a negative regulatory audit. Tasks include adherence to the local laws , new guidelines, its interpretation & implementation within the specific timelines. Keep brushed up for any new changes from RBI or any other regulator.


Key Responsibilities


Have a reasonable understanding of RBI related NBFC guidelines Managing the interpretation and implementation of applicable laws and new guidelines. Maintaining an assessment matrix of various regulatory norms with timelines Managing various statutory committees meeting & minute them Annual Policy reviews & board approval. Support various functions to understand the new circulars applicability & implementation. Coordinating with Internal Audit for effective closures Liaisoning with regulators on Requirements/ Inspection Regular Compliance Training to team Managing IT tools and technology savvy

Experience Required


NBFC/ Bank Auditing experience and the ability to travel domestically overnight.


Knowledge of procedural requirements, regulatory environment, and credit risk factors.


Ability to professionally handle sensitive performance information.


Strong interpersonal and team building skills.


Strong verbal and written communication skills


Minimum working experience of 5+ years in NBFC / Banks


Preferred Qualifications


Bachelor's / Post Graduate Degree , Preferably Company Secretary.
