Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our HR team based in Mumbai ,India as Compensation Specialist.


You will be responsible for the design , implementation and management of competitive compensation strategies in India.

Key Accountabilities :

This role will ensure that the organization pay structures and reward programs align with market trends, legal requirements and business objectives. The Compensation Specialist will play a key role in maintaining internal equity, supporting talent retention and driving the company's total rewards strategy through proactive analysis and stakeholder management. Lead the salary review and bonus processes for the market in accordance with the guidelines to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy. Engage with key stakeholders, up to mid-senior management levels, providing expert guidance on compensation policies, proposed strategies and procedures to maintain consistency across QR Group. Provide advisory services on compensation related inquiries, audits and reporting requirements with agility and professionalism.

Qualifications

To be Successful in this role you will need:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent. A recognized accreditation in HR is preferred. Minimum of 5 years' related job experience within an International company. Strong knowledge of compensation frameworks, including compliance with local and international regulations. Experience in reviewing and raising proposals for local benefit schemes/plans as required. Proven experience in stakeholder management and engagement across multiple levels. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate across all levels. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, ever changing environment. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for this role.
