Assist in preparation of agenda, notices, and minutes for Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and General Meetings.
Support in drafting and maintaining statutory registers, records, and filings under the Companies Act, 2013.
Track due dates and ensure timely preparation of resolutions and compliance documents.
2. Regulatory Filings & Compliance
Assist in filing of e-forms, annual returns, and other statutory filings with MCA, ROC, and other authorities.
Monitor compliance calendar and maintain compliance tracker for the Company and group entities.
Assist in ensuring adherence to FEMA, RBI, Labour Laws, and other applicable regulations (as relevant).
3. Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain and update statutory records, registers, and company database.
Organize and manage company documents, agreements, contracts, and related records.
Support in preparing drafts of resolutions, notices, and correspondence with stakeholders/regulators.
4. Governance & Legal Support
Assist in drafting and reviewing simple agreements, undertakings, and letters.
Provide support in corporate governance initiatives and policy compliance.
Conduct preliminary research on legal and compliance issues as directed.
5. Coordination & Liaison
Liaise with internal departments, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.
Coordinate for collection of data and information needed for compliance and filings.
Support in handling queries from statutory authorities under guidance of Senior CS.
6. General Support & Learning
Assist in implementation of secretarial and compliance processes.
Keep updated on changes in company law and related regulations.
Perform any other work as may be assigned from time to time by the Company Secretary/Senior Management.
Education:
Qualified Company Secretary
Preference will be given to candidates holding an LL.B. degree in addition to CS qualification.
Experience
3 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in corporate secretarial and compliance functions.
Familiarity with company law, MCA portal, ROC filings, and secretarial documentation.
Exposure to drafting notices, resolutions, and maintaining statutory registers will be an added advantage.
