Key Responsibilities of a Company Secretary in the Stock Market:

Preference: Female

Compliance:

Ensuring adherence to corporate laws, securities laws, capital market regulations, and listing agreements.

Legal and Financial Advice:

Providing expert advice on legal and financial matters, including advising the board of directors on governance best practices.

Corporate Governance:

Guiding the company on strategic, governance-related, and compliance issues, ensuring adherence to corporate governance principles.

Capital Market Operations:

Managing aspects of the company's capital market activities, such as IPO compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and shareholder relations.

Regulatory Updates:

Keeping the company informed of changes in regulations and ensuring compliance with new rules.

Board Meeting Coordination:

Facilitating board meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and other relevant documents.

Shareholder Relations:

Managing shareholder communications, including organizing annual general meetings and handling shareholder inquiries.

Financial Reporting:

Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial reports and tax returns.

Regulatory Filings:

Filing various e-forms and returns with regulatory bodies like the Registrar of Companies.

Secretarial Audits:
