The Junior Coordinator - Community Outreach will act as a vital link between
Akshadhaa Foundation and community schools/partner organizations
. The role focuses on ensuring effective on-ground implementation of outreach plans, strengthening coordination with internal team and stakeholders, and supporting smooth program execution while maintaining quality, consistency, and accountability in service delivery.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesField Implementation
? Implement community outreach plans at assigned community schools and partner organizations as per approved schedules.
? Ensure activities are conducted regularly and in line with Akshadhaa Foundation's outreach guidelines.
? Observe on-ground implementation and report challenges or deviations to the Project Coordinator.
Coordination & Communication
? Act as the field-level liaison between Akshadhaa Foundation and community schools/organizations.
? Coordinate with trainers, interns, drivers, and school authorities for smooth program execution.
? Communicate schedules, updates, and requirements between field teams and the office.
Logistics & Operational Support
? Support planning and coordination of travel, materials, and session logistics.
? Ensure Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs) are available, used appropriately, and accounted for.
? Assist in attendance confirmation and daily field readiness.
Documentation & Reporting
? Maintain accurate documentation as per project and donor requirements.
? Collect feedback from teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
? Ensure systematic file keeping in physical and digital formats and update ERP systems regularly.
Compliance & Professional Conduct
? Follow organizational policies, child protection norms, and ethical standards.
? Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
? Escalate incidents and emergencies through the defined reporting structure.
Required Qualifications & Skills
? Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, Development Studies, or a related field (preferred).
?
Fluency in Kannada and English (read, write, and speak) is mandatory.
? Basic teaching skills and knowledge of
inclusive education practices
will be an added advantage.
? Strong communication, coordination, decision making and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to work independently in the field and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
? Good organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
Experience
?
0-2 years of experience
in child-focused and education projects, NGO programs, community outreach, or similar roles preferred.
? Freshers with strong field orientation and interest in inclusive education may also be considered.
Additional Requirements
? Willingness to travel regularly to community schools and outreach locations.
? Comfortable with field-based responsibilities.
?
Local candidates will be preferred
for effective community engagement.
Comprehensive in-house training will be provided
to support role readiness and capacity building.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
