Phlebotomist - Community-Based Child Health Research

Location:

Deoli, Sangam Vihar, South Delhi

Employment Type:

Full-time, Contract (6 months minimum)

Expected Salary:

25,000 per month

About the Role

We are hiring a skilled

Phlebotomist

to support a field-based child health research study in Sangam Vihar. The role involves

home-based infant blood sample collection

and coordination of related field and lab activities. Candidates residing in or near Sangam Vihar will be

strongly preferred

for operational efficiency and community familiarity.

Key Responsibilities

Collect high-quality blood samples from infants and children at participants' homes

Manage daily field visits and lab support activities

Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and cold chain maintenance

Assist with processing of samples and organizing timely transport to the central lab

Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

DMLT or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

Demonstrated experience in pediatric blood sample collection

Preferred:

Experience in public health or research fieldwork

Familiarity with handling and processing blood samples in basic lab settings

Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation

Comfort with community-based work and respectful interpersonal communication
