Job Description

We are looking for passionate (female) graduates to join our workforce as Community Outreach Workers at Vrindavan area of Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate and support field-level outreach activities for community waste management and sanitation initiatives at the allotted wards; Mobilize local communities, conduct awareness sessions, and engage with key stakeholders (residents, local leaders, schools, municipal staff); Collect field data and share basic reports digitally as per project requirements; Promote behavior change through targeted campaigns and household visits; Assist in social media dissemination of project activities, including taking basic photos/videos with a smartphone.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Ability to read and type English for basic data entry and reporting. Minimum 1 year of experience working in any field-level initiative under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM). Understanding of local sanitation challenges and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Basic proficiency in using a smartphone (calling, messaging, photography, social media posting). Basic understanding of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and/or other common social media platforms for outreach and reporting. Familiarity with community mobilization activities.

Preferred Attributes

Experience working with NGOs, local government, or grassroots community organizations. Ability to organize and support meetings/events at the village and ward level. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Hindi/local languages. Ability to monitor oneself, reliable daily field presence in Vrindavan Mathura area.

Work Hours & Travel

The role requires full-time presence, typically during waste collection hours, with flexibility based on field activity schedules and project needs. No regular requirement for travel outside the alloted ULB unless assigned by Green Future Collective for specific project needs. Candidates will be informed well in advance and reimbursed to any travel requirements, as and when they occur.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
