JOB PROFILE:



We are looking for a committed professional who is passionate about working with communities at the grassroots level and experienced in CBOs and NGOs partnership management. The Community Outreach Coordinator will monitor and mentor partners within our network of non ? profit organisation's, the role will be focused on building and sustaining relationships that result in increased utilization of our services by rural beneficiaries (especially women) as change agents. The Community Outreach Coordinator will support project implementers at the partners' end to disseminate information and monitor projects within various "Barefoot Solutions" programs in targeted communities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:



Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

? Relationship Management with existing Ground Partners of BCI.

? Explore and onboard New NGO Partners for various projects.

? Liaison between project teams (Solar) and partners to streamline communication to facilitate effective implementation and evaluation of project activities.

? Execute quarterly work plans to accomplish deliverables as established by the team. The CO (project) team members will support mutually to execute the project.

? Will be responsible for directly coordinating with few ground partners in some states on a regional basis. Will also render support in coordination for other projects for same ground partners.

? Negotiate with Ground partners to ensure timely delivery of results for better implementation.

? Ability to work and deal with people from diverse backgrounds and communities.

? Must be open to travel at the national, regional and local levels at a short notice( at

least 10-12 days per month-this is excluding travel days).

? Ability to understand community dynamics, available resources, future opportunities and foresee challenges.

? Effectively mobilize the potential beneficiaries, ability to facilitate sessions with individual or groups of beneficiaries, their families and other stakeholder in the community.

? Able to complement team members in other projects.

? Create systems and protocols through proper debriefs & evaluation to ensure that lessons learnt from each visit are applied in the next through best practices, templates etc.

? Create simple tech-based frameworks and tools to ensure regular coordination and communication within the community to provide the requisite support

? Maintain and utilize a working knowledge of significant developments, trends, and best practices in the field of public engagement/organizing.

? Exposure to conducting PRA exercises and baseline surveys would be an advantage

? Collect data and insights for detailed documentation and report writing related to community meetings and workshops/engagements.

? Assist in developing content, presentations and displays to be used in partner meetings and community outreach efforts.

? Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

SKILLS



? Excellent communicator with good persuasion and negotiation skills and ability to connect with different cultural and situational realities.

? Fluent spoken and written English, Hindi and any other south Indian language skills essential..

? Ability to learn quickly about different topics, able to facilitate in an engaging manner.

? Active listening and interpersonal communication skills to clearly and concisely convey,

? Strong organisational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.

? Emotional maturity to handle work pressure and meet deadlines. The person should be hardworking , honest and sincere.

? Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

? Extensive regional and national-level travel will be required.

? Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions,

? Well versed in technological intervention

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



Education:

Graduate or Masters or Post graduation diploma in any subject, ( Development studies or MSW preferred).

Experience:



1-?2years' work experience with Indian or International social sector organizations working in areas of Community Development, NGO-Partnership management, self?sufficiency and sustainability. Strong experience and knowledge of community mobilization, grassroots organizing and working with grassroots partners, coalitions and individuals. Experience and interest in internal and external communications, partnership development, and fundraising. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms.

LOCATION:

The position will be based at Central/South India. Candidate preferred from Central/South Indian states.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?38,000.00 per month
