Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, members, and local authorities.
Facilitate community meetings, focus group discussions, and outreach events.
Mobilize community members for participation in project activities.
Program Implementation:
Support the implementation of program activities at the community level in line with project goals.
Monitor progress and collect data to track community participation and impact.
Identify community needs and report findings to the program team.
Communication and Advocacy:
Disseminate information about the NGO's services and projects to the community.
Serve as a point of contact for community feedback and concerns.
Advocate for community needs within the organization.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of community engagement activities.
Prepare regular reports and updates for supervisors.
Document best practices and lessons learned from the field.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
At least 1-3 years of experience in community mobilization or development work.
Experience working with NGOs or community-based organizations preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with diverse communities and respect cultural sensitivities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Willingness to travel to field locations as needed
Desirable:
Knowledge of local language(s).
