We are looking for a dedicated and energetic

Community Mobilizer - Career Counsellor

to join our team. The role involves reaching out to communities, identifying potential candidates, and guiding them towards suitable training and career opportunities. Candidates with

experience in skilling/skill development projects such as DDUGKY, PMKVY, CSR initiatives, or similar programs

are especially welcome. The ideal candidate should have a passion for helping individuals shape their careers and the ability to engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct community outreach to identify and mobilize potential candidates for skill development programs. Visit various locations to collect admission forms and encourage enrollments. Provide career counseling to job seekers, especially those with +2 or higher education. Explain training and job opportunities, addressing candidate concerns. Build and maintain relationships with community leaders and local organizations. Achieve weekly and monthly admission targets set by the organization. Maintain and report data on mobilization activities, walk-ins, and enrollments.

Educational Qualification:

Preferred:

BSW / MSW

Also Acceptable:

Any UG / PG degree Experience in mobilization, community outreach, or career counseling preferred.

Experience in skilling/skill development projects such as DDUGKY, PMKVY, CSR initiatives, or similar will be highly valued.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel within a 20 km radius of Medavakkam. Passion for guiding and mentoring youth towards career opportunities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Target-driven with the ability to achieve weekly and monthly mobilization goals.
