The Community Mobilizer will be responsible for outreach, awareness generation, and mobilization of youth from the community for enrollment in skilling and livelihood programs. The role involves fieldwork, building strong community networks, and ensuring participation of eligible candidates in training and employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outreach & Mobilization
Conduct door-to-door visits, community meetings, and awareness campaigns to identify potential candidates.
Engage with schools, colleges, self-help groups (SHGs), NGOs, panchayats, and community leaders.
Organize mobilization drives, rallies, and events in target areas.
Ensure timely batch formation as per center's enrollment targets.
2. Counseling & Enrollment
Counsel youth and their families on program benefits, career opportunities, and livelihood options.
Screen and shortlist candidates based on eligibility criteria.
Support in documentation, registration, and onboarding of students.
3. Community & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with local influencers, government officials, and social groups.
Coordinate with placement and training teams to align mobilization efforts with program goals.
Act as a bridge between the community and the training center.
4. Data & Reporting
Maintain records of mobilization activities, outreach events, and candidate pipeline.
Share daily/weekly/monthly reports with the Centre Manager.
Provide feedback on ground-level challenges and community needs.
