Job Title: Community Manager (Remote) Company Overview: DesignerShala is an edtech company that provides design education to students and professionals around the world. Our mission is to make design education accessible, affordable, and engaging for everyone. We offer online courses, workshops, and mentoring programs that are taught by industry experts and designed to help learners develop the skills they need to succeed in the design industry. : DesignerShala is seeking a talented and experienced Community Manager to help us build and grow our online community. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for engaging with our learners, answering their questions, and creating a supportive and engaging environment for them. You will also work closely with our marketing and product teams to develop strategies for building and growing our community. Responsibilities:

  • Engage with our learners on social media and other online platforms to answer their questions and provide support.
  • Develop and execute strategies for building and growing our online community.
  • Monitor and analyze social media and community metrics to track the success of our community-building efforts.
  • Create and manage online events, such as webinars and meetups, to bring our community together.
  • Work closely with our marketing and product teams to ensure that our community-building efforts align with our overall business goals.
  • Identify and engage with influencers and thought leaders in the design industry to help us build our community.
  • Create engaging and informative content, such as blog posts and videos, that will help our learners succeed in their design careers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in community management or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Experience with community management tools, such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social.
  • Knowledge of the design industry and design education is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
