Role Overview
Cloud Counselage is looking for the dynamic Community Managers Academia (CMA) to build strong relationships, drive engagement, and ensure a seamless experience for Academia members of our Industry Academia Community (IAC).
As a Community Manager, you will be the face of Cloud Counselage in your assigned city leading all college and university partnerships, on-ground engagements, and community-building efforts.
In this role, you will lead initiatives to strengthen engagement across the community ecosystem, support cross-functional teams in executing strategic initiatives, and contribute to large-scale flagship events ???????? to introduce participants to ???????? (Entrepreneurship competition) and ????????? (Technical Competitions) initiatives leading to ??????? ???? ????? show (to be aired on OTT by end of next year), Jobs, Internships & Entrepreneurship (JIE) Expo @ , IAC Excellence Awards @ ?. You will also play a key role in driving participation, maintaining communication channels, and ensuring a vibrant and value-driven community experience.
You will connect with college management, faculty members, and students, establish partnerships, and coordinate roadshows and events as part of Cloud Counselage's national outreach.
You will also lead and manage a small local team or interns, ensuring consistent execution and reporting across all colleges in your city.
Job Responsibilities:
1. College Partnerships & Relationship Building

  • Call, visit, and collaborate with college heads, directors, and placement cells to onboard colleges into the IAC network
  • Establish free partnerships for Cloud Counselages College Roadshows and events
  • Create and manage one WhatsApp group per college to connect faculty (admins) and students for communication, updates, and engagement
  • Build and nurture a city-level community of college faculty and students
2. City-Wide Community Management
  • Handle all colleges within your assigned city or region
  • Develop strong engagement channels to promote employability programs, roadshows, and IAC initiatives
  • Support central teams (Marketing, HR, Operations) in implementing and localizing national campaigns
3. Roadshows & Event Coordination
  • Coordinate College Roadshows leading to ??????? ???? ????? show and ensure participation from 100+ college heads per event
  • Identify and involve multiple colleges to participate in and co-host roadshows and workshops
  • Represent Cloud Counselage in external events, conferences, and university meetings
4. Team Leadership & Management
  • Lead and mentor a team of local coordinators, campus ambassadors, or interns
  • Assign weekly targets, review progress, and ensure high-quality community interactions
  • Report weekly performance metrics and field insights to the Central IAC team
5. KPIs & Reporting
  • Number of college partnerships signed or onboarded
  • Number of faculty members and students engaged per college
  • Number of roadshows conducted and college heads participated
  • Overall growth and retention of city-level IAC community
Eligibility Criteria
  • 1-5 years of experience in community management, institutional partnerships, business development, or event management
  • Experience in education, EdTech, or NGO sector preferred
  • Diploma / Degree / Masters in any discipline
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Working laptop and stable internet connection (mandatory)

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about youth empowerment.
  • Leadership skills with ability to manage teams and handle multiple colleges.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and basic CRM tools.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and reporting abilities.
  • Willingness to travel locally within the assigned city.
