The Community Engagement Expert will support participatory approaches, community-based initiatives, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen community involvement and capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement community engagement strategies
Support community-based disaster risk management initiatives
Facilitate consultations, workshops, and stakeholder meetings
Promote participation of vulnerable and marginalized groups
Support community capacity-building activities
Document engagement processes and outcomes
Coordinate with local stakeholders and institutions
Qualification & Experience
Education:
Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences or related discipline
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in community engagement and capacity building
Language:
Excellent written and spoken English & Hindi
