A global research organization focused on the creation of more and better jobs, seeks applications from qualified candidates for the position of Communications Associate, based in New Delhi. The successful candidate will demonstrate the capacity to support the implementation of a communications strategy in a young, fast-growing, global research organization. S/he will work closely with the organization\'s communications team to help execute a coherent plan for amplifying the impact of organization\xe2\x80\x99s research and ensuring it reaches audiences and influencers across government, civil society, the private sector, academia, media and others. The position will require a high degree of initiative and self-motivation, and the ability to think innovatively and creatively about how to build impact and public identity. Responsibilities -
Work with the communications team to execute a comprehensive global communications strategy for the organization \xe2\x80\x93 including assisting with press outreach to print and digital media, social media, and management of website and multimedia
Develop and help execute a global social media strategy on multiple platforms
Build relationships with key influencers on social media platforms
Write blog content for the organization\'s Network website
Help as needed in drafting newsletters, press releases, placing editorials, organizing seminars, etc. \xe2\x80\x93 and engage senior staff and research associates in implementing them
Identify and support outreach to influential reporters and media outlets around the world.
Support the organization and hosting of events, seminars and meetings
Conduct research including synthesis of important news stories, literature reviews, summarizing key reports.
Functional details:
Masters in public policy, journalism, communications, or other relevant field o r a Bachelors with equivalent work experience
3-5 years of work experience in communications-related field, preferably with a research organization or think tank
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
Experience working across social-media platforms and technologically savvy
Demonstrated interest in the field of labor and employment
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
Creative ability to help with basic design and production of multi-media outputs
