Job Description


J.P. Morgan\'s Asset & Wealth Management business is seeking a talented, enthusiastic and innovative communications professional to join its Internal Communications team.In this role you will be responsible for helping shape, tell and share the story of AWM Operations journey of transformation. You will share stories of innovation, highlight the diverse people shaping the organization and their deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communications skills, a client-service mindset and well-developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Also important are the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion effectively. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Communications partner to Global Head of Operations for Asset & Wealth Management
  • Partner closely with AWM Operations Business Management and Leadership team to ensure a cohesive communications strategy to tell AWM Operations\' story of innovation and citizen developer-led transformation.
  • Provides event-planning support for a variety of global meetings, including Town Halls (~ 2 ,000 employees) and MD/ED meetings (~300 employees)
  • Serves as lead publisher/designer/content manager for several intranet homepages and subpages - publishing news and feature articles, videos and accompanying graphics.
  • Writes traditional communications for internal clients, such as organizational announcements, manager briefings and Town Hall follow-up notes.
  • Creates content for PowerPoint decks and talking points for clients for large meetings and presentations.
  • Writes articles and other editorial content for intranet.
  • Liaises across Operations managers for their communications needs, such as branding reviews, content reviews, consultation on strategy and client management.
  • Uses Targeted Email tool to distribute messages to AWM employees.
  • Draft and submit nominations for external awards and lists.
  • Oversee AWM\'s Digital Sign footprint, partner with team to create innovative and creative ways to grab attention
  • Continue development on internal AWM Podcast
  • Assists when needed with various communications and other strategic projects for the AWM Internal Communications team at large.

Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of internal and corporate communications experience, including extensive hands-on writing, editing, project management, and presentation building, in technology or financial services
  • Bachelor\'s degree in English, Journalism or Communications or equivalent.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple projects against both tight and rolling deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; meticulous attention to detail, adherence to the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Demonstrated success developing executive-level messages, providing communications counsel to senior management teams, and executing strong communications strategies
  • Experience and comfort working with C-Suite executives
  • Experience liaising with peers and clients in a global setting.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management; Experience with Associated Press (AP) Style Guide
  • Knowledge of SharePoint content management systems (both intranet and team sites)
  • Proficiency across all Microsoft products (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Experience with web reporting tools, such Adobe Analytics
  • Familiarity with survey management tools, such as Survey Monkey
  • Working knowledge of basic web technology and comfortable communicating with IT support and other line of business communicators and publishers
  • Experience with the Adobe CC suite, particularly Premiere Pro.
  • Experience with video content creation, editing and publishing preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Asset & Wealth Management business, investment products, and Financial Operations a plus.
