Hyderabad Runners is the first group in India to institutionalise running. Founded in May 2007, the primary aim of this not-for-profit society is to help people lead active lifestyles by making running a preferred form of fitness activity. We achieve this end with a three-fold approach - Advocacy, Training & Events.
Responsible for planning and executing marketing, communications, and community engagement activities for Hyderabad Runners and Hyderabad Marathon. The role involves driving digital, managing creative communications, and delivering clear event related communication through various channels - social media, event collaterals, media production etc.
This is a full-time employment.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Coordinate with the appointed agencies for creatives, videos, photos and emails for Hyderabad Runners programs and all events.
Work closely with internal teams, media agencies, to ensure consistent messaging and timely execution of all communication initiatives.
Will be required to work and coordinate with 3-4 external media vendors and 5-6 internal teams.
2. Digital Media & Social Media
Develop and execute digital media strategy/ plan, including content calendar and performance marketing.
Coordinate with creative agencies, internal stakeholders, and review all content/creative assets.
Manage social media spends and influencer marketing and Monitor engagement metrics (impressions, reach, comments)
3. Photography, Videography & Media Production
Plan and coordinate events photography/videography, ensuring best visual capture across locations.
4. Community Engagement
Organize webinars - from concept and subject selection to panelist coordination, orientation, and backend tech support.
5. Email Marketing & Campaigns, Website Management and Ensure website banners, sponsor visibility, and charity information are accurate and up to date.

Required Skills
1. Marketing & Communication Skills
Expertise in content ideation, social media engagement, and storytelling.
Knowledge of various digital media platforms, performance marketing, and campaign analytics.
Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and AI Engine Optimization
2. Community & Stakeholder Engagement
Coordinate with running communities and
Ability to organize interactive sessions/webinars, identify relevant panelists, and manage community initiatives.
3. Creative & Design Sense
Ability to conceptualize and review creative designs for outdoor, print, and digital platforms.
Understanding of brand aesthetics, visibility, and audience impact.
Basic Knowledge of photography/videography and video editing
4. Event & Project Management: in handling large-scale event marketing campaigns end-to-end.
5. Soft Skills
Strong coordination and multitasking abilities across multiple stakeholders (internal teams, agencies, sponsors).
Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
Problem-solving mindset, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Good Articulation and Copy writing skills
