A customer facing profile to develop and implement effective media and public relations strategies. An account executive should have the ability to understand and analyse the key client and market insights with a brand lens and ownership and translate that in to media stories for digital, print, radio, television, social media and podcasts. The incumbent will be the part of the team that owns all client related deliverables and drive the brand objectives of the mandate through Media, PR, Communications, and Media solutions.

With the support of the Account Manager, understand the client requirements and deliverables for the proposed marketing and communication strategy and execute the PR and Media strategy and meet the KPI
Establish clarity in communication amongst clients, partners, and the team members at the initial level for minimum miscommunication
Standardization and Management of all important documents and information required across verticals
Execution

Understand the industry of the client and approach to get to media campaign outcomes
Ability to create & pitch press release and feature ideas to the relevant media, to interest them in covering the clients' stories
Ability to build client relationships and maintain a network of media contacts including journalists and industry spokespeople
Ability to write press releases, articles, blogs and the required content pieces
Work as part of the Brand Communications teams to deliver the larger mandate (beyond just PR) through consistent brand message across
Follow the reporting formats to keep the client updated on the progress
Manage the needs of the client and their accounts
Contribute to team meetings, liaising and update clients on the activities undertaken
Job Requirements

Excellent writing and speaking communication skills
Extensive knowledge of media landscape, media relations, and best PR practices
Experience as a PR executive or a similar role (be specific, and include the number of years of experience)
Experience in Media and PR execution
Ability to multitask, be solution oriented and operate with team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
Have a good media relation skillset
Ability to manage multiple projects
Keeping updated with current PR trends and tools
Bachelors/Masters in marketing, communication, business or other relevant field
