Commodity Trader (Sugar/Rice)

to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in commodity trading, particularly in

sugar and rice

, and proven experience in the

FMCG sector

.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end trading operations for

sugar and rice commodities

. Analyze commodity market trends, pricing, and demand-supply dynamics. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trading terms effectively. Ensure smooth execution of deals while adhering to company policies and compliance standards. Achieve sales and trading targets as per company goals.

Requirements:

Minimum

3+ years of experience

in commodity trading, specifically

sugar and rice

. Prior experience in the

FMCG sector

is mandatory. Strong knowledge of commodity markets, pricing strategies, and trading processes. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata.
