Key Responsibilities:
Trade in commodities such as
Sugar, Rice, and Edible Oil
, focusing on both procurement and sales.
Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, and distributors in domestic and international markets.
Monitor and analyze
commodity market trends, price movements, and global demand-supply conditions
.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trade terms with clients and vendors.
Develop and execute trading strategies to maximize profitability.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
Collaborate with the logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of trade operations.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's growth objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in commodity trading, preferably in FMCG food products (Sugar, Rice, Edible Oil).
Strong knowledge of
domestic and international commodity markets
.
Proven ability in
business development and client relationship management
.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and forecast pricing.
Ability to handle multiple deals and work under pressure.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with trading platforms/tools.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
