Role - Commissioning Engineer (Water System)

Qualification - mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering

Package - 12 LPA to 14 LPA

Experience - 5 to 10 Years

Location - Goregaon West, Mumbai

Industry - Water Treatment Manufacturing

Working day - 5 Days

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Pre-commissioning Activities:

Reviewing project plans and drawings, coordinating with relevant teams, and performing system checks to ensure installations align with specifications.

Commissioning Activities:

Overseeing the initial testing and approval of water systems, including pumps, filtration systems, and chemical dosing systems, to ensure they function as intended.

Testing and Troubleshooting:

Conducting performance tests, such as flow rates, pressure, and water quality analysis, and troubleshooting and rectifying any system issues that arise during commissioning.

Handover and Documentation:

Preparing and documenting all commissioning activities, ensuring proper handover of the system to the client, and maintaining accurate records.

Equipment Validation:

Verifying that all equipment used in water treatment meets specific standards, including calibration of chemical dosing systems.

Plant Startup Procedures:

Developing and implementing protocols for starting operations at a water treatment facility, including checking pipelines and safety mechanisms.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

Engineering Degree:

A formal engineering degree, preferably in a relevant field like mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering. [

Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of water treatment processes, pumps and instrumentation.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues and malfunctions.

Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and construction teams.

Soft Skills:

Time management, leadership, and risk management skills are also valuable.

Experience:

Practical experience in water treatment plant operations and commissioning is required.
