You will be working as Commissioning Engineer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will be primarily responsible to do the engineering, commissioning & service of low voltage AC & DC drives under projects in time and to provide technical service/ support to customers.Your responsibilities Working with project and service team to explore technical solutions, drive service solutions and able to work on mitigation project risks and execute without project delay Driving the team competency by providing technical support to team while executing the project/ service projects. Keeping track of service orders and plan the resources for execution Practicing sustainable practices including continuous improvement of engineering practices, drives upgradations, service orders execution and lead improvement during service project engineering Completing the assigned project/ service jobs on-time with customer satisfaction for result in project closures Preparing, studying and analyzing the existing system and execute revamp solutions (especially low voltage DC solutions) Understanding the requirements of sub-system and coordinating with other engineering departments in getting it delivered as per application requirement Your background B.Tech/ B.E/ Diploma from a reputed university with first class in Electrical & Electronics engineering Required minimum 8+ years of relevant work experience in drives solutions by similar suppliers Experience of commissioning/ trouble shooting/ servicing Drive systems preferably in/for metal Industry & industrial cranes Knowledge of AC/ DC drives (converters/ inverters), AC/ DC motors, DCS/ PLC HW/SW Components Knowledge of different communication protocols used between PLC & Drives or in automation Basic knowledge on electrical design standards and international standards like IEC, IS etc., is an added advantage More about us Process Industries division delivers complete electrification and automation solutions, industry-specific products and lifecycle services across industries.
