Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and baking of cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts.
Follow recipes and presentation standards as directed by the Pastry Chef.
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry section at all times.
Support the team in daily operations and special events.
Monitor stock levels and assist in requisitioning supplies.
Learn and apply new pastry techniques and skills under supervision.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Bakery & Pastry, Culinary Arts, or Hotel Management preferred.
Previous experience/internship in pastry & bakery is an advantage (freshers may also apply).
Passion for baking and creativity in dessert presentation.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
