Job Description

Role Summary:

Assist in prep and basic cooking for Flax's new Asian menu, ensuring consistency, hygiene, and speed in a cloud-kitchen setup.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in mise-en-place, cutting, chopping, portioning & basic cooking. Prepare sauces, condiments & ingredients as per SOPs. Maintain hygiene, workstation cleanliness & follow FIFO. Support in batch cooking, packaging & daily kitchen operations. Learn Asian flavours, sauces & healthy cooking techniques.

Requirements:

Commis II: 1-2 yrs kitchen experience (Asian experience preferred) Commis III: 0-1 yr experience / fresher with interest in Asian cuisine Basic kitchen skills, discipline & willingness to learn
