Responsible for preparing and cooking Italian dishes, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation. Supports the Chef de Partie and oversees junior staff during kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare pasta, pizza, sauces, and other Italian specialties.
Supervise and train Commis II and helpers.
Maintain mise-en-place and ensure consistency in dishes.
Follow food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
Assist in menu planning and ingredient control.
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in Italian cuisine.
Strong knowledge of Italian ingredients, sauces, and techniques.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Ability to handle multiple orders efficiently.
