Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of Chinese dishes.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications as directed by senior chefs.
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards and in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and support other sections when required.
Practice proper portion control and minimize food waste.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Chinese cuisine, preferably in a hotel or fine dining environment.
Formal culinary training is a plus.
Knowledge of regional Chinese cooking styles and ingredients.
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and hygiene standards.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
