Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and portion control.
Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Assist in inventory control, receiving, and storage of food items.
Support in menu planning and special events as required.
Report any kitchen issues, shortages, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
Requirements
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as Commis I or in a similar kitchen role.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
