Job Description

We are hiring Commis Chefs for upcoming 4 star resort in Madhampatty, we are looking commis chefs for Indian, South Indian, Tandoor, Continental .

A Commis 1 is an entry-to-mid-level culinary position responsible for preparing and cooking dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and assisting senior chefs. Their duties include food preparation (like prepping ingredients and thawing food), cooking, plating and presenting dishes to high standards, and keeping work areas clean and organized. It's a role that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and an ability to learn new techniques, often serving as a stepping stone to leadership positions. Key responsibilities

Food preparation:

Preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and standards, including tasks like preparing ingredients, cooking, and presenting meals.

Hygiene and safety:

Maintaining a clean and hygienic working area, ensuring food safety, and enforcing health and safety standards.

Support for senior staff:

Assisting senior chefs, such as the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef, and contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
