Chemmanur International Holidays & Resort Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated

Commis (I/II/III)

to join our culinary team at our Thekkady location. The ideal candidates will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene, and ensure high-quality standards in food service.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist chefs in food preparation as per standard recipes. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas and equipment. Follow proper food storage, rotation, and safety protocols. Support senior kitchen staff in mise en place and daily operations. Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning. Learn and adhere to all company standards and procedures. Manage basic cooking tasks independently (for Commis I & II). Assist in receiving and stocking kitchen supplies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 10th standard pass; Hotel Management diploma/certification preferred. 0-3 years of experience in a kitchen/culinary role (depending on Commis level). Basic knowledge of Indian and continental cuisines preferred. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. Willingness to work flexible shifts and weekends.
