Job Description

Food Preparation & Cooking

Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to the highest standards. Ensure portion control, consistency, and quality of food served. Follow standard recipes and maintain taste & presentation.

Section Management

Take charge of a particular section (grill, sauce, pastry, tandoor, etc.). Organize mise-en-place before each service. Ensure smooth running of the section during busy service hours.

Quality & Hygiene

Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness as per HACCP standards. Properly store raw and cooked food to avoid cross-contamination. Monitor expiry dates and reduce wastage.

Teamwork & Supervision

Guide and support Commis and trainees in the section. Delegate tasks and check their work for accuracy and quality. Report any issues (equipment, shortage, complaints) to Sous Chef/Head Chef.

Inventory & Control

Monitor stock levels and inform for requisitions on time. Minimize wastage and ensure cost control. Assist in monthly inventory checks.

Menu & Specials

Assist in developing new dishes or specials. Give feedback on portion size, customer preferences, and improvements.

Professionalism

Maintain discipline, grooming, and punctuality. Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff. Uphold kitchen standards, safety, and teamwork spirit.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
