Qualifications

: A formal culinary education, such as a diploma or degree in baking and pastry arts, provides a strong foundation in baking techniques, ingredient handling, and food safety. : Candidates should possess a solid understanding of various baking methods, including bread, croissants, along with knowledge of different dough, fillings, and decorating techniques. : Candidates should have at least 1-2 years of prior experience in a bakery kitchen. This experience helps in developing the necessary skills and familiarity with bakery operations. : Familiarity with international and regional bakery items, as well as the ability to adapt recipes to suit guest preferences, showcases a well-rounded approach to baking. : Precise measurements, timing, and presentation are crucial in baking. A keen eye for detail ensures that baked goods consistently meet our quality standards. : Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential to maintain a safe and clean bakery environment, preventing cross-contamination and adhering to health standards. : The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, taking direction from senior chefs, and contributing positively to the team dynamic is highly valued.
