Job Summary:



We are looking for a skilled

North Indian and Chinese Cook

to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing authentic North Indian and Chinese dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and cook

authentic North Indian and Chinese dishes

(curries, gravies, rice, noodles, starters, and tandoor items). Ensure

consistency in taste, quality, and portioning

as per the restaurant's standards. Maintain

cleanliness and hygiene

in the kitchen area according to food safety norms. Manage mise-en-place (preparation work) for daily operations. Monitor

inventory levels

, inform the store/chef about required raw materials, and minimize wastage. Ensure proper

storage of raw materials and cooked items

in accordance with HACCP standards. Coordinate with the kitchen team for

timely service during peak hours

. Assist in

menu planning, costing, and new dish development

when required. Follow safety procedures while handling kitchen equipment and hot surfaces. Maintain discipline, punctuality, and teamwork in the kitchen.

Requirements:



Minimum

2-5 years of experience

as a Cook or Commis in North Indian / Chinese cuisine. Strong knowledge of

gravies, sauces, marinades, and stir-fry techniques

. Experience working in a

resort, hotel, or multi-cuisine restaurant

preferred. Ability to work under pressure and in a

fast-paced kitchen environment

. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work in shifts and at different resort locations if required.
