Duties and Responsibilities Food Preparation and Cooking Assistance
Assist in basic food preparation such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and cooking.
Support the CDP and Sous Chef in preparing mise-en-place for service.
Learn and execute recipes for various Asian cuisines including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Korean dishes.
Ensure all dishes are prepared according to standard recipes and plating guidelines.
Hygiene, Safety, and Cleanliness
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and storage areas at all times.
Follow food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in line with HACCP policies.
Handle kitchen equipment and ingredients safely under supervision.
Teamwork and Learning
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Take direction from senior chefs and actively participate in on-the-job training.
Develop culinary skills, product knowledge, and speed through continuous learning.
Stock and Equipment Management
Assist in receiving, labeling, and storing raw materials properly.
