The Commis Chef assists senior kitchen staff in daily food preparation and ensures hygiene, quality, and kitchen standards are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparation and cooking of food as per instructions
Follow recipes and portion standards set by senior chefs
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area and equipment
Help in storing food items properly as per safety norms
Support senior chefs during service hours
Ensure compliance with food safety and kitchen standards
Minimize food wastage and handle ingredients carefully
Required Skills & Qualifications
Basic knowledge of cooking and kitchen operations
Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
Team player with willingness to learn
Experience
Fresher or 0-2 years of experience in a hotel or commercial kitchen
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
