We are looking for a HEAD CHEF/ SOUS CHEF
- They should have minimum 2years experience of leading the kitchen team. Culinary degree or relevant certification from a culinary school is preferred.
- They should have knowledge of cafe-style food.
- They will be involved in overseeing the culinary operations of the kitchen.
- They should have knowledge of various cooking methods, equipment, procedures, induction-based cooking
RESPONSIBILITIES
1)Kitchen Management: Assist in supervising daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and sanitation. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
2)Menu Development: create and develop menu items, considering seasonal availability, cost-effectiveness, and customer preferences.
Preparing cafe-style food including sandwiches, salad, burger, pizza, mocktails
3)Staff Supervision: Oversee kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and other team members. Train new employees and ensure proper execution of recipes and techniques.
4)Inventory and Ordering: Monitor kitchen inventory levels, place orders for ingredients, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
5)Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
6)Kitchen Operations: Coordinate kitchen operations during service, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery of meals.
7)Budgeting and Cost Control: Assist in managing kitchen expenses, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
