Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation
:
Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking, such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables, and portioning meats.
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistent flavor and presentation.
Cooking Assistance
:
Cook Indian and Continental dishes under supervision, including curries, bread, grilled items, pasta, and sauces.
Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation for all dishes.
Quality Control
:
Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
Ensure that all dishes meet the establishment's quality standards.
Hygiene & Safety
:
Adhere to kitchen hygiene protocols and maintain cleanliness in workstations.
Follow food safety regulations and proper storage practices.
Inventory & Supplies
:
Assist in monitoring stock levels of ingredients and notify supervisors when supplies are running low.
Handle kitchen equipment responsibly and report any maintenance issues.
Collaboration
:
Work closely with senior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
:
Certification/Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen, focusing on Indian and/or Continental cuisines.
