Prepare and cook Indian dishes such as curries, gravies, tandoor items, biryanis, breads, and snacks.
Assist in developing new Indian menu items and specials.
Ensure correct portioning and presentation of dishes.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and appearance.
Kitchen Operations
Follow standard recipes and SOPs.
Ensure all mise-en-place is prepared before service.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
Support Chef de Partie/Sous Chef during busy service periods.
Assist in developing new Indian menu items and specials.
Ensure correct portioning and presentation of dishes.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and appearance.
Coordination & Teamwork
Work collaboratively with kitchen brigade.
Train junior staff (Commis II and III) when required.
Communicate effectively to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Follow HACCP, hygiene, and food safety guidelines.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
