We are seeking a passionate and hardworking Commis Chef with 1-3 years of experience to join for a wellness retreat in Calicut.The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in food preparation, kitchen operations, and a willingness to learn and grow under the guidance of senior chefs.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under the supervision of senior chefs.
Ensure all ingredients and food items are stored properly and in accordance with hygiene standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations at all times.
Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations (FSSAI standards).
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
Perform basic food prep tasks such as cutting, marinating, portioning, and plating.
Requirements

Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Culinary diploma or certification is an added advantage.
