Assisting with mis en place (preparing ingredients in advance).
Cooking:
Assisting with cooking various dishes under the supervision of a chef de partie (station chef) or other experienced chefs.
Learning basic cooking techniques like grilling, sauteing, and frying.
Kitchen Management:
Monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and accepting deliveries.
Ensuring proper food storage and rotation to prevent spoilage.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
Reporting any equipment issues or safety hazards to superiors.
