Key Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of continental food items as per organizational standards
Carry out mise en place duties prior to service and ensure readiness of assigned kitchen sections
Follow standardized recipes, portion control guidelines, and presentation specifications
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, equipment, and storage areas at all times
Comply with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies, including HACCP guidelines
Assist in proper storage, labeling, and stock rotation of food items using FIFO procedures
Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to senior kitchen staff
Support senior chefs during peak operational periods
Minimize food wastage and adhere to cost control measures
Participate in training programs and skill development initiatives as assigned
Required Skills and Competencies
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
Shift-based work, including weekends and public holidays
Prolonged standing in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat and kitchen equipment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
