Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Continental Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing a wide range of European and Western cuisines, with a focus on quality, presentation, and efficiency. You will be responsible for creating innovative dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and delivering consistent food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes (e.g., Italian, French, Mediterranean, etc.) according to established recipes and standards. Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets high quality and taste standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an organized and efficient kitchen. Monitor stock levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations. Innovate and develop new dishes for seasonal or promotional menus. Train junior chefs and kitchen staff when required. Ensure proper portion control and minimize food waste.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Continental Chef or in a similar role in a busy kitchen. Knowledge of various continental cuisines and cooking techniques. Culinary diploma or certification from a recognized institute (preferred). Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Creativity and a passion for food.

Working Conditions:

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Standing for extended periods and working in a hot kitchen environment.

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
