We are hiring for a Commis Chef (Chinese/ Continental) for our Hotel & Banquets .
As a "Chinese Continental Chef" you have to cook a variety of cuisines, with a specific focus on both Chinese and Continental dishes. This role involves preparing both Chinese and European-style meals, from noodles and momos to pastas and sandwiches.

11 a.m to 9 p.m.

Responsibilities and duties
Menu Planning:
Designing and preparing menus that include both Chinese and Continental options.
Food Preparation:
Chopping, measuring, and preparing ingredients for all types of dishes.
Cooking:
Executing recipes for a wide array of dishes, such as chow mein, chili paneer, momos, pasta, and sandwiches.
Hygiene:
Ensuring the kitchen is clean and safe according to hygiene standards.
Assisting:
Helping with other culinary tasks as needed in a professional kitchen environment.
Skills and qualifications
Experience:
Experience in both Chinese and continental cooking is required, with a minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in Chinese.
Cuisine Knowledge:
A strong understanding of the cooking methods, ingredients, and techniques for both culinary styles is essential.
Versatility:
The ability to prepare a wide range of dishes, from fast food to more complex meals, is a key skill.
