Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook tandoor dishes including kebabs, rotis, naans, kulchas, and Indian breads.
Assist senior chefs in daily food preparation and service.
Maintain quality, consistency, and portion control as per standards.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen.
Monitor mise-en-place and ensure timely availability of ingredients.
Follow recipes, SOPs, and food safety regulations (FSSAI compliance).
Support the kitchen team during peak hours and banquets.
Assist in stock rotation and minimize food wastage.
Requirements
Minimum
1-2 years of experience
as Commis I/II in Tandoor section (hotel or restaurant).
Knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, and tandoor operations.
Strong sense of taste, seasoning, and plating.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Basic food hygiene knowledge (FSSAI certification preferred).
