Commis II - Kitchen

Yellowstone Resort Arambol, Goa

:

The Commis II is responsible for assisting in daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food preparation, hygiene, and quality as per the resort's culinary standards. The role supports the Chef de Partie and Senior Chefs in delivering refined, well-executed dishes for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of menu items under the guidance of senior chefs. Maintain mise-en-place for assigned sections and ensure readiness for service. Follow recipe standards, portion control, and plating guidelines. Uphold cleanliness of the workstation and adhere to hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols. Properly handle, store, and label ingredients to maintain freshness and prevent wastage. Support in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients. Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Chef de Partie. Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all dishes. Assist other kitchen sections during peak hours when required.
Qualifications & Skills:

Prior experience as Commis III or in a similar kitchen role preferred. Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations. Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and plating standards accurately. Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills. Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
