Golden Castle Restaurant is seeking an experienced and dedicated
Commi 1
to support kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and efficiency. The candidate should be skilled in food preparation and capable of working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation and cooking of food items as per standard recipes
Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation standards
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines strictly
Assist Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas
Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished food items
Control wastage and report shortages or damages
Adhere to kitchen SOPs and management instructions
Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum
1-3 years of experience
as Commi 1 or in a similar role
Basic culinary qualification or hotel management certification preferred
Knowledge of Indian and/or Continental cuisine
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
Team-oriented with a positive and disciplined attitude
