Job Description

La maison is a new vegan and organic cafe created by three friends: an Indian and two French. Located ins Anjuna-Goa, this cafe aims at offering a menu that is both healthy and environment-conscious.

We are looking for a Commis to join our team and prepare lip-smacking dishes for our customers. The Commis will be supporting the cooks in delivering consistently high-quality food.

Job profile:

Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.

Ensure standards and quality in the daily preparation and duties/tasks assigned by the superiors

Self-update with the new products, recipes, and preparation techniques

Knowledge of standard procedures and policies about food preparation, ?receiving, storage, and sanitation.

Awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production, and presentation ?standards.

Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and tidiness in all areas of the kitchen, including storage and equipment.

Go to pick up orders from local suppliers when necessary.

Knowledge of peeling and cutting vegetables and fruits.

Important details:

Basic knowledge of English will be appreciated

Open to freshers

Type: Full Time (9 hours per day / 1 day off per week)

Part time job is possible too
