Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items as directed by the Head Chef or Sous Chef. Ensure all ingredients are prepared and organized for service. Follow recipes and presentation standards to maintain quality and consistency. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Assist in inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste. Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of dishes. Support other kitchen staff as needed and participate in team training sessions.

Qualifications:



Relevant culinary qualifications or training preferred. Experience in a cafe or restaurant kitchen environment, particularly for Commis 2 or Commis 3 roles. Strong passion for food and cooking with a willingness to learn and develop skills. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
